Autumn Hair Color

September 2021

September, although still very hot, still makes us crave autumn styles. Here in Florida fall hair colors start to make an appearance.

Colors like: golden black with an almost-gold undertone to lighten your strands while still maintaining a black shade. How about Silver? Silver highlights give you a cool look. Classic brown/brunette is a color thats always underrated, and is always classic & classy. Of course, blonde and red are always perfect colors for autumn. Mushroom blonde and Hollywood red are starting to become popular again. 

Whatever color you choose, it’ll be a perfect complement to your fall look

Florida Humidity

April 2021

April & May is the time of year when pollen and humidity increase. This of course means your hair starts to get frizzy.

Don’t know what to do for your frizzy hair? Well, you can try various anti-frizz products. You can say forget it and just put your hair up in a ponytail.

Safety First

Not sure what we're doing to keep you safe when you come to the salon? 

Here's what we're doing: 

Sanitizing the salon before it opens, in-between clients and when we close for the night-including our equipment, limiting how many people can be in the salon at the same time, wearing masks, wearing gloves.

Here's what you should do:

Make an appointment (no walk-ins),cancel your appointment if you feel unwell, wear a mask (no mask-no service), bring cash, do not bring food or drinks inside the salon (it's a point of contamination), wait outside till you are called in. 



It may sound cliche' - but we REALLY are ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!

Pixie Cuts

Pixie hairstyles are making a comeback. Don't think you can pull it off? The good news is that a pixie cut isn't like the super short, boyish look of long ago. The look is enhanced by fringes, asymmetrical cuts, layered - you name it!

Round, square, oval or heart-shaped - every face shape can pull off this look.

Halloween Styles

Halloween is a few days away - and that means it's time to think about easy hairstyles for your party. 

How about a "Bride of Frankenstein" look - you don't have to spray your hair with dry shampoo or dye it - simply use white baby's breath to pin along the sides.

 

How about Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz" or Wednesday from "The Adams Family"?  A simple spider bun is achieved with black pipe cleaners!

Hard or Soft Water?

Did you know that different hair types react differently to hard and soft water? 

Soft water will help tame and smooth coarse or damaged hair. Soft water will help hair to maintain its color longer.

Hard water will leave hair with a less oily texture. Soft water will make hair feel greasy or slippery. Hard water contains lots of minerals which can also have a bad affect on color-treated hair - making it fade quickly.
